Jason’s Box Defender Service Award Handover Event
Land Rover Louisville is proud to announce that Jason’s Box has been named a 2025 Defender Service Awards winner in the Veterans Outreach category. Join us on April 3, 2026 at 10:00 AM for the official vehicle reveal and key handover ceremony as we hand over their custom Defender 130.

Launched in 2021, the Defender Service Awards recognize nonprofit organizations that require a capable SUV to further their mission of service. To date, 30 custom Defenders have been awarded across the U.S. and Canada, along with over $1.5 million in monetary awards from sponsors. In 2025 alone, 875+ nonprofit videos were submitted and 375,000 public votes were cast — with $390,000 in total prize money awarded to finalists and winners.

Click the link to the left to hear directly from Joseph Tirone about the work their all-volunteer team is doing in support of catastrophically injured combat veterans, with a focus on improving mental well-being and preventing suicide. They provide outdoor activities for our veterans including equine therapy, beekeeping, fishing, horse farm tours, hunting, kayaking, and agri-therapy — all activities which will benefit from the addition of a Defender 130 to transport veterans and the outdoor gear needed for these experiences.
What to Expect at the Handover
The ceremony will include welcome remarks, a brief overview of the Defender Service Awards, remarks from Land Rover Louisville and Jason’s Box leadership, the official Defender reveal, a key handover presentation, and photo opportunities.
